About us
12 Regional Support Centres across the UK operate as a single network. Each RSC provides advice and support, through a variety of means, to their supported learning providers on the effective deployment of technology. This enables providers to operate efficiently, particularly in lean economic times, and to equip their learners with skills that will enhance their future prospects.
JISC RSCs are one of eight JISC services which form JISC Advance, a resource for the HE and FE and Skills sectors which combines specialist services of JISC with a regional support structure. JISC Advance is responsible for advancing education, research and management in the use of technology through expertise, advice and inspirations. It also ensures that the community meets emerging technology challenges across the education sector.
