Adult and community learning
The JISC RSC Eastern provides advice and support for Local Authority ACL services in the development and implementaion of their ILT and e-learning strategies. This is done through a range of activities including structured visits, forum meetings, liaison with partners and a wide variety of focussed events and workshops.
The focus of our support includes senior managers and ILT managers, the E-Guides programme, specific e-learning projects, and the sharing and dissemination of good practice. We also have new portal for ACL colleagues in the Eastern region, that enables users to share documents, resources, best practice and collaborate on projects online. We work closely with NIACE, JISC Services and colleagues from other sectors to provide integrated support for VLEs, staff development and new technologies for learning and teaching.
