Further and higher education
RSC support
Our focus includes support for senior managers and ILT managers, specific e-learning projects, and the sharing and dissemination of good practice. We offer support in the development and implementation of ILT and e-learning strategies. This is done through a range of activities including structured visits, forum meetings, liaison with partners and a wide variety of focussed events and workshops.
e-Learning Forum
The target audience includes FE, HE and HE in FE, Managers, Practitioners, Learning Technologists and any colleague who has an interest in improving learning through technology.
We aim to schedule up to three e-Learning Forum meetings each academic year, the issues covered will include both those concerning e-learning staff development and the full ILT agenda. Details are publicised via our JISCmail Discussion lists, Events Database and Twitter #rsceforum.
Virtual Learning Environment (VLE) Forum
The target audience is FE, HE and HE in FE, Managers, Practitioners, Learning Technologists and any colleague who has an interest in maximising the potential of VLEs.
We aim to schedule up to three VLE Forum meetings each academic year, the issues covered will include platform development, course development, staff training and give an insight into future learning platform developments. Details are publicised via our JISCmail Discussion lists, Events Database and Twitter #rsceforum.
e-Fair
RSC Eastern has been supporting learning providers since August 2000. An annual highlight is the e-Fair which allows the learning provider community to share. For further information on this year’s e-Fair go to our events page.

Further Education
Malcolm Bodley is the e-Learning Advisor for Further Education and provides support for nominated Further Education Institutions of the Eastern region. The support area for ILT Champions and Managers is available on our Moodle, JISC RSC Eastern Moodle for Further Education. We also disseminate relevant information via the JISCmail List For ILT Champions and Managers.
