e-Safer Communities Conference open for bookings

esafersuffolkThe e-Safer Communities Conference takes place on February 1st at the University Campus Suffolk Waterfront Building, Ipswich

Are you a senior manager or service lead? If you're responsible for safeguarding children, young people, families and vulnerable adults, do you understand how the Internet impacts on their everyday lives, and how to protect them?

Come along to debate the issues, get practical e-safety advice, hear the latest research and get free resources for promoting e-safety from internationally renowned e-safety experts.

Keynote speaker, Will Gardner is the current CEO of Childnet International; member of the UK Council for Child Internet Safety and sits on Facebook's Safety Advisory Board.

Keynote speaker, Stephen Carrick-Davies is an independent freelance professional; former CEO of Childnet International where he led on the development of award-winning internet education and awareness programmes for young people, families and schools.

Also be the first to hear the results of the first ever Suffolk cybersurvey of children, young people and vulnerable  adults. Presented by Dr Emma Bond, Senior Lecturer Childhood and Youth Studies, UCS.

Prices for the conference are £75 for public sector, education providers and commercial organisations. £45 community and voluntary organisations.
