Information advice and guidance systems
Effective information advice and guidance is the key to successful learner progression within and between organisations, whether this is between school and college, college and university, or into employment.
RSC support for information, advice and guidance is targeted at on-line practices and resources to ensure that:
- learners are provided with effective information, advice and guidance before they enrol, whilst they are on-course and to assist their progression into further learning or employment.
- student services and careers roles in learning providers provide effective online support and information through the appropriate use of technologies.
- external information available on the internet is properly integrated and accessible for learners and those who support them.
- tutors are able to provide effective support for their learners through online means
