Learning partnerships

Learning partnerships are a type of shared service, but with a focus upon the delivery of learning. They may consist of:

• learning providers working together to deliver learning and share resources
• Further Education (FE) learning providers delivering qualifications accredited by Higher Education Institutions (HEIs)
• FE learning providers delivering learning in partnership with schools
• learning providers working with stakeholders in the learning process (for example, with employers, parents, external verifiers)
• learning providers engaged in work-based learning and assessment primarily within the workplace of commercial employers
• learning providers working with schools to aid the process of transition for learners/apprentices/NEETS (Not in Education, Employment or Training) with learning difficulties and/or disabilities.
