How we support you

 In addition to the services that all RSCs offer as part of their remit (including events and consultations), RSC West Midlands provides the following that our regionally supported learning providers can benefit from;

• E-learning progress review
• Equipment loans
• Regional forums
• Regional mailing lists
• Learning space review
• RSC assist
• Regional communication channels

We also work closely with the following regional partners to support our learning providers;

• The West Midlands Centre for Excellence in Teacher Training (WMCETT)
• Association of Colleges West Midlands

As part of the JISC Advance concordat with LSIS, we meet regularly with the West Midlands Regional Development Manager to dicuss opportunities for collaborative working including support at RSC West Midlands and LSIS regional events. 

Advisory group

The RSC West Midlands Advisory Group meets on a termly basis and comprises representatives from our locally supported learning providers, the University of Wolverhampton and the West Midlands Regional Development Manager from the the Learning and Skills Improvement Service (LSIS). The role of the advisory group is to ensure that the nationally prescribed remit and services are delivered appropriately to the needs of the region.
