Projects and initiatives

RSC West Midlands has pioneered a number of e-learning projects which have given our supported learning providers the opportunity to try a range of technologies to improve teaching, learning and organisational efficiency. These have included virtual worlds, mobile devices (such as tablets), assistive software and e-portfolios.

The projects have proved a successful part of our service by allowing learning providers to try new technologies without making a financial commitment. In return, participating providers have produced a report outlining how the technology was used and the impact it made to the learner, teaching staff and the organisation.
