E-Progress Review
The JISC RSC YH E-Progress Review will provide you with an objective view of e-learning progress within your institution. We take you through a review process involving the Generator tool and bringing together key people within your organisation. We then offer a series of pointers to further develop your e-strategy within your organisation and provide a basis for further discussion with us.
Out of the Box
Our Out of the Box scheme provides a staff development opportunity to explore accessibility and inclusion kits, complete with suggested training exercises. The aim is to consider the practical application of each technology, tailored to your own needs. Providers can loan the equipment for up to three weeks.
RSC Roadshow
Do you want a staff development opportunity that emphasises real-world application? Do you need a chance to experiment with technology to explore educational benefits? New this year, the RSC Roadshow provides staff development on integrating technology into teaching, learning and training scenarios. Contact us to host a session.
Technology in Action
This new project has been set up for our supported Work Based Learning and Adult & Community Learning providers to explore and experience the use of mobile technologies for learning, teaching, training and assessing. After attending a training event on 25 January (see our Events page), providers bid to loan mobile devices so that they can experiment with the technology on a ‘try before you buy’ basis.
Wireless Network Analysis
Do you need to check the coverage and signal strength of your wireless network? How can you check for ‘rogue’ devices causing interference? Our wireless network analysis service allows you to troubleshoot connection problems and check your readiness for wireless technologies.
